Truck 10% down

Fix
  1. Reboot NSU last night, fixed the error on the 2nd PRI.
  2. Swap the PRI physical port this morning.  1st PRI connected to NSU’s port 2 (12 1 1 2), 2nd PRI connected to NSU’s port 1 (12 1 1 1).  This will help us to identify the problem, if Telus circuit issues, error in 12 1 1 1.  If problem with NSU, error in 12 1 1 2.  One note, the primary incoming and outgoing call will be using 12 1 1 2.

Before: incoming (trunk 1) / outgoing (trunk 2)

Now: incoming and outgoing (trunk 2)

Pro: channel unseizable on trunk 1 => possibly Telus PRI issue.

Cons: If trunk 2 has problems, it would hit hard on our phone system and get many complaints.   If that happens, a temp fix would be to busy out trunk 2 and let calls failover to trunk 1.

The T1 lines are all "cleared" on Telus check.  They did find some DHSL errors, possibly a cause from our telephone equipment reboots.

If callers call in, if there is a ~10 sec delay before getting a "busy circuit" message, it's more likely the issue is on our Telephone equipment.   The Telus DHSL sends the signal to our end, if our equipment did not handle the call, it will time out and the user will hear the message.   Usually if callers the "busy circuit" right away it would be a Telus issue - that what the Telus tech said...
